As
with all organizations, a Chain of Command has been established in Teanthril.Click
here to learn how to use the Chain of Command.
The
Governing body of Teanthril is headed
by the King.
Reporting
directly to the King is the High
Council, the members of High Council
each have an equal vote in matters
that are brought to them for settlement.
Reporting
specifically to the High Council,
are the Earls. Each Earl runs an
Arda. Each Arda represents a game
we support, and the combined Realms
create the Ardain. Most members
will belong to one or more Ardain.
As such, they must follow any lawful
orders given to them by their Earl
or Countess, unless that order conflicts
with orders given to them by the
High Council. In such a case, an
explanation should suffice.
All
other members makeup the General
population of teanthril and can
be assigned various duties and responsibilites
to do for any member of the Council
or for a Earl or Countess.

How
do I use the Chain of Command?
Ok
so you've read the Ranks and Duties
page, you've taken a look at this
Chain of command breakdown and you
are still confused? No problem.
Think of the Chain of Command as
a ladder. When you start out on
the ladder, you do so at the lowest
rung. In the case of The Equalizers,
that first rung is the rank of Citizen.
As
a Citizen, your main task is to
pass your probation. You'll need
to register at the forums, and be
active. You should also make attempts
to attend meetings and involve yourself
in the activities of your arda(game).
For
all other purposes, the Chain of
Command should be used. For example,
if you are a Citizen and have a
suggestion to make about the arda,
or a rule. You should contact a
Superior Officer. Using the Chain
of Command, as a Citizen , your
Direct Superior Officer would be
a Page. Any Page is considered a
Direct Superior. If the first Page
you attempt to contact does not
give you an adequate reply, then
you may have another Page that you
can report to. If, however, there
are no Pages that are willing or
able to help, your next step is
to move up the chain by one level.
That would be the Squire in this
case.
Taking
that example, if you were a Knight
and in the same position, you would
then go to a Lord. Likewise, if
a Lord has passed along some information,
or a duty, you would pass that down
(in the case of information) or
have the option of passing down
(in the case of a duty) to the level
below you in the Chain of command.
There
are certain aspects of the Equalizers
that occur outside of the Chain
of Command. Promotions requests
for example, are not passed up the
chain of command. They are taken
straight to the Prince. This,
of course, is explained in more
detail on the appropriate page...
in this case, the Ranks and Duties
Page.
