Day after Easter - I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter. Spending time with family and loved ones is the best thing to do. It brings people closer together and stops people from playing games for a while...wait that a BAD thing. What was I thinking ...I must be crazy!!! I am sorry; please forgive me...j/k

Moving to new server - Just FYI we are still in the process of getting things moved over to the new site. If you are unfamiliar with the address it is: www.equalizersclan.net. We are going to go back to an HTML format since Mambo seems to give us some problems from time to time. With the New Site we will be bringing back Members Pages which IMO looked a whole lot better than the Profile Pages in Mambo...which aren't very customizable. You can go ahead and register at our New Forums as well while we get things moved over. We are NOT moving the Database over because the problems on the Arktic Site were that the Databases were the parts that were faulty. We are trying to mirror everything that we can though. I spend most of Monday working on the Main Page to get things updated and spruce it up some. So, please start posting on the new forums because you will have more to leave behind when we finally move away from Arktic. I also wanted to let everyone know that I beefed up the security like it is here on Arktic and created the Groups. So, when you register give us a little bit to get you set up fully.

High Council Applications - We now have all of the High Council Applications in and accounted for. I only received stuff from a handful of you guys. The ones that have applied will be listed on the site either today or tomorrow for voting. Remember that this does include Earl Positions as well. Since no one ran for any Open Earl positions, then I will wait another week before closing the applications for them. I have the Earl Positions and the High Council Positions listed on the Guild News Article from May 31st which you can find here: "The deadline is April 8th" You can read more about the positions that you are applying for in Vampy’s Pub or here on the Clan Page. I can answer additional questions for you that you may have on this subject if you do not understand something.

Double and Triple Promotion points - ***PLEASE READ*** Once again, this applies to EVERYONE new and old... Promotion Points have never been easier to get than this month. We have Promotion Points that are Tripled For Quests/Activities and Doubled Points for Recruitment. Plus I have included and added bonus on recruitment. For every 5 members that you recruit you will receive and additional 5 Promotion Points. So, with 1 Point per Recruit and 5 Points for every 5 Recruits would put you at 10 Total Points for every 5 Recruits. But, wait...that's not all...I have all recruitment Points doubled for the month of April. That means for every 5 Recruits you will receive 20 Total Points. That is for EVERYONE and an easy 20 Promotion Points! Recruitment has never been more rewarding. It is very easy to Recruit as well but, remember what I always say, “It is always easy to recruit from within a game to join a Guild or Clan than it is to recruit from within a Clan or Guild to play a specific game." To move up in ranks you will need Promotion Points to help you advance. Don't let something so easy to get pass you by. There are also Quest and Activities that will gain you Triple Points throughout the Forums and Divisions. If you are unable to find any or need help with getting some Quest or activities to gain Promotion Points, then please PM and I will help you out with that. So, there is no excuse for anyone NOT to have at least some Promotion Points this month. There is NO limit to the amount of points that you can earn. So, let's get out there and start earning like crazy.

Forums Down - We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to anyone but the forums are temporarily down due to an issue that occurred when we switched the site to the domain name. We have been working non stop for the past 5 hours (Currently 12:06 PM PST) and have not yet found the bug in the coding.

Elections Postponed - The elections have been pushed back at least a week now. Officer Positions Announced - We now have all of our Earl positions. They are as follows:

Countess and Earl of D2 - Lunarfire and Odinschild (They are both serving as Co-Division leaders for our Diablo 2 Division)

Earl of LotRO - Arydan (He will continue to serve as our Division Leader for the time being while also holding the Prince position)

Earl of GW - Poolfury (I will continue to run this Division as well while holding the position on King)

Earl of L2 - KrakenSkullz (He is just starting this division up and will continue to run this division while holding the position of Duke)

Earl of WoW - Athos (He is starting the Division and will continue to run this division while holding the position of Archduke)

Earl/Countess of EC (Equalizers Collective) - This Position is still open. If you would like to run this division, then please see Arydan or myself for further information.

Increased Forums Security - We have now increased Forum Security to prevent spammers and bots from entering and posting on our site. I have added everyone to the correct Usergroups now and everyone should be able to access the appropriate areas. If you have any questions or problems at all, then let me know ASAP. There may be minor adjustments as we go along and if there are any places that you are denied access that you should be able to see or post in, then please let me know ASAP so, I may correct the issue with haste.

Who's my Earl/Countess? - I have made a Sticky in every Division and in Intooth with a list of each Division with the Earls/Countesses listed under their respective Divisions. From ANY of these lists you will be able to tell who is over which Divisions. You will also be able to click the Division Name to be taken to that Division as well as the Leaders Names which will take you to their Profiles on the Forums. This will better help members find who they need to contact for information pertaining to the Division in which they belong. If anyone has any problems or questions with these lists, then please let me know ASAP.

Clan Meetings - We are going to have the first Clan meeting this Friday at 9pm EST. I would like to have one on Saturday as well but, not sure the best time. I think for now I will make it this Saturday for 10am EST. It has been suggested for 9am EST and 11am EST...so, I will do it in the middle. We will work on changing the times later. The Friday meeting will be the same things discussed in the Saturday meeting. If you miss one, then you will not have to worry about it because we will talking about the same stuff in both. If you are not able to attend either meeting, then you will still not need to worry. We will post these meetings on the forums for people to review and for people to discuss. If anyone has any questions about this or anything else, then please let me know.

New Officer Position Announced - Congratulations to Earl {=}BeastMaster! He is our newest Earl. He is the the Earl of the Equalizers Collective. For those unfamiliar with this Division it is is a Division devoted to those Equalizers who may play a game that does not have its own Division. With the Equalizers Collective it is everyone essentially but, any games that do not have a Division are discussed here with Server Info, Game Stats, Character Lists, etc. This is also a place to go for Promotion points dealing more specifically with the Clan that you would not find in the other Divisions. So, once again - congratulations! I believe that you will serve us well.

Inactivity can be REALLY bad news- I hate to do this but, everyone that has 0 posts on the forums will need to post at least their application by the end of next week. If these members do not comply, then I will be forced to set them inactive. They will lose all Member Only permissions and will be considered be released from the Clan's Roster. Please, make sure that you are active on the forums. With this being nearly 10 members (which is 1/3 of our Roster) I may have to bring back Weekly Check-ins. It is good to be a part of the game (in Game), participating in that Division with other players and helping out but, if you are not active on the forums, then you are not totally active in the Clan. This is essential for communication between players and organization throughout the Clan. We do not have ANY stand alone Guilds within games that do not communicate with the rest of the Clan. If you are wanting a stand alone guild within the game without communicating with the rest of the Clan, then this might not be the place for you. It is really simple to just post something...even if it is a couple of times a week. Activity on the forums is imperative to be considered active within this Clan. I will send an email out sometime today to everyone that this affects so, they can correct the issue ASAP.

Clan meeting v1.1 - We had our first meetings a couple of hours ago and I am proud to say that it turned out pretty good. I will post the meeting information at this link "Clan Meeting v1.1..." and I will make this READ ONLY and LOCK the Topic because the meeting info is very long. I will create a new Topic entitled "Clan Meeting v1.1 Feedback...". Our second one will be this morning at 10am EST but, I will wait till 11am EST if no one else shows up to make sure that everyone is able to make it.

Guild News and Updates - This a new section that will pop up in the Forums over the next couple of day that will contain all of the news and Clan Meeting information for archive purposes. I will leave stickies at the top for people to reply to but, the actual Archive Info where it will not be repliable (is that even a word - that which may be replied upon). I will ave them locked in order to keep them in a chronological order for easy reference.

LotRO information - There are couple days left in BETA for this game. Although the game is fully released the game still has extended BETA until the 29th. So, the 30th will be the first official day of LotRO being completely out of BETA. This means that it will be a fully accepted game by all. If you have the BEAT and need the full game...you don't have much time.

Clan meeting v1.2 - We had No attendance at this meeting. I will try a different time than before. Please look in the forums for the new times to be posted.

Inactivity = Deletion - We need to get everyone that has one or less post in the forums to be more active. The applies to Equalizers Members ONLY. If little to no activity continues in this matter, then we will be forced to deactive your account, remove your name from the Equalizers Roster and you will have to re-apply to be an Equalizer starting over as a Citizen (Day 1). I hate to do this but, we need to have activity on the forums by ALL Equalizers since this is our main way of communicating between each other. I realize that it may seem tedious but, this shows us that you are an ACTIVE member of the Clan. Game Activity does not count as being active in the Clan...just that Division (In-Game). It takes only 2 minutes to sign on and post a message or reply to someone else's message. Since this seems to be a problem that we are already running into we will need to reactive Check-ins as discussed in yesterday's meeting. Starting next week - May 7th, we will be doing check-ins again. If there is any questions, concerns or comments on this subject, then please let me know ASAP.
